
The purpose of the Orientation to Recompression Chambers Distinctive Specialty is to provide a safe and well supervised introduction into the work of a hyperbaric facility. It is designed to familiarise divers to the facilities available, the procedures used, problems and hazards associated with a recompression chamber and possible treatments available.
Course participants are expected to take part in a recompression chamber dive to a maximum depth of 40 metres.
Pre-requisites:
- PADI Advanced Open Water (or equivalent qualification)
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Participants must hold a current diving medical

Maximum of 8 students to 1 instructor.
